The size chart is only estimated measurements. We sell several different brand names and have taken all the size charts and estimated them together. So, the measurements are no way exact for all products. Most all of the tuxedos and suits run pretty true to size. I recommend you order what size you normally are purchasing for your child on a day to day basis. If your child is in between sizes I recommend you order the bigger size as it is easier to alter the dress or tuxedo in than to try and let it out. We try to advise customers to order that way because we have had a better success in fitting.
